Roadmap Audiences

Who Work can be shown to on a roadmap: Leadership, Customers, Investors and your own audiences, each with a smallest size, a Public toggle and a private share link.

Roadmap audiences decide who sees a Work item on a roadmap. Each Work item has a Roadmap field in its dialog: pick the audiences it is for, or leave it empty to keep it Internal Only. Internal Only work still appears on your own Roadmap; it just never reaches an audience.

Admins and owners manage the list here; members tag Work with it.

Defaults

Every workspace starts with three audiences:

AudiencePublicTypical use
LeadershipNoWhat management and the exec team track
CustomersYesWhat you're happy to promise customers
InvestorsNoThe bets worth a board or investor update

Rename, recolour, reorder or delete any of them, and add your own (Board, Partners, a key account).

Smallest size

Each audience has a smallest size: Any size, or S, M, L or XL and up. An audience only sees tagged Work at least that big, by its Effort. Work with no effort set always shows. Use it to keep an investor view to the big bets without untagging the small items.

The Work dialog marks an audience chip with a dashed outline and "below L" when the item is too small for that audience to see.

Public

Turn Public on to publish an audience's Work on the workspace's public roadmap (when the public roadmap itself is on). Customers is public by default. Work that is Internal Only, or only tagged for private audiences, never reaches the public roadmap.

Share link makes a private address, /share/roadmap/…, that shows that audience's roadmap to anyone who has it, without signing in: Planned, In Progress and Shipped columns, titles and target dates only. The link is copied for you.

  • Copy link copies it again.
  • Replace makes a new link; the old one stops working at once.
  • Revoke turns the link off.

Share pages aren't indexed by search engines.

  • Roadmap: the Audience switch previews exactly what an audience sees
  • Work-Item Types: a type's Roadmap toggle still applies first
