Settings

Settings overview

Map of every Settings section: account, members and roles, integrations, AI key, naming, audit log, danger zone.

The Settings page is the workspace's control panel. Reachable from the cog icon at the bottom of the sidebar.

Find a setting

Press Ctrl+K (⌘K on a Mac) and type what you are looking for. The command palette lists every settings page, each block on a page (for example Two-factor authentication under Account, or Invite member under Members & Roles) and every integration by name (Slack, Jira, GitHub). Pick one and Settings opens scrolled to it, highlighted for a moment; a block under the Integrations Import or Health tab opens that tab. The address bar then names the block (/settings/account#security), so the link opens the same place when you share it. A page your role cannot open is listed with a lock. Settings appear in the palette once you start typing.

Sections

Grouped by area in the left rail:

Personal

  • Account: profile and MFA
  • Notifications: what reaches your inbox
  • Keyboard Shortcuts: view and rebind shortcuts
  • Page view modes: default modal / dock / page layout for entity detail, with per-type overrides
  • Learning: Learning Mode toggle, guided tours, and PM 101 lesson progress
  • API Tokens: named, scoped, revocable tokens for scripted API access (anyone can see their own tokens; issuing is admin+)

Workspace

  • Workspace: the workspace avatar (owners and admins upload, crop to a square, replace or remove it; it shows on the public changelog and portal), workspace name, slug, timezone and language (admin+ can open it; saving is owner-only), the Require two-factor authentication and Let Google and Microsoft sign-ins skip 2FA policies and Re-run onboarding (all owner only)
  • Public surfaces: whether the public changelog (/changelog/{slug}), the public feedback portal (/portal/{slug}) and the public roadmap embed (/embed/{slug}/roadmap) are reachable without signing in. All three are off by default, and turning one off hides its published rows without deleting anything. There is no toggle in Settings yet: read the flags from GET /api/v1/workspace or the MCP get_workspace tool, and switch them with PATCH /api/v1/workspace (owner) or the MCP action update_workspace_public_surfaces (owner or admin, described on the MCP server page)
  • Members & Roles: invite teammates, change roles, manage workspace access
  • Functions & Access: which areas each job function can reach, and how (admin+; while functions are available for the workspace)
  • Audit Log: workspace event history (admin+)

Customization

  • Entity Naming: rename entities (Feedback → Voice, Theme → Pattern, etc.) (admin+ to open; saving is owner-only)
  • Custom fields: per-entity ad-hoc columns (member+, beta)
  • Work-Item Types: per-workspace Type catalog for features (Feature, Bug, Tech-Debt by default): add/recolor/reorder types, set the default, gate public-roadmap visibility, archive (member+)
  • Sprint Cadence: sprint length (1–90 days), anchor date, and sprint label prefix (default Sprint). Sprints are computed from these values across the app (nothing is stored per sprint): drives the sprint chips on /features, the Sprint period mode on /roadmap, the sprint pill on /releases, and the sprint-boundary notification cron (admin+ to open; saving is owner-only). Change sprint length picks a new length and the sprint it starts with (the current one or any of the next seven): earlier sprints keep their numbers and dates, and the numbers carry on, so weekly sprints up to Sprint 221 can become two-week sprints from Sprint 222. Once the length has changed, the section lists each length with its sprints and dates, and a change that has not started yet can be cancelled. Every sprint, past ones too applies the length to all sprints instead, which renumbers and redates past ones

Integrations & Data

  • AI: Anthropic API key + AI feature catalogue (admin+)
  • Integrations: connect / disconnect GitHub, Linear, Intercom, etc.; pull issues via the Import tab; the Health tab shows sync status (admin+)
  • Widget & API: publishable and secret keys for the feedback widget and Feedback API (admin+, beta)
  • Import / Export: Excel workbook export and template for everyone; import is owner only

Danger

  • Danger Zone: permanently delete all workspace data (owner only)

Role gating

Sections that require admin+ are marked with a lock icon and a "Requires admin or owner role" tooltip. Click through and you see a Locked panel explaining what role is needed: sections are dimmed, not hidden, so you always know what exists.

The full capability matrix is in Workspaces and roles.
