# Products

> Top-level product surfaces. Nest sub-products (API only); assign feedback and features to a product for filtered views.

Products are the top-level groupings in your workspace. Each can host its own feedback, features, modules, and assigned personas.

## What you'll see

- **Modules table**: every module grouped under its product; groups are collapsible, and a product with no modules yet shows a placeholder row that opens the product itself
- **Columns**: module name, ID, product, feedback count, feature count, description
- **Filter bar**: product, plus a search across products and modules

## Row drawer

- Name, description, icon, owner, status
- **Modules**: sub-product groupings (e.g. "Feedback Inbox", "Roadmap")
- **Linked personas**: via the `product_personas` junction
- **Counts**: feedback assigned to this product

## Common actions

- **Add** menu in the toolbar: new product or new module
- Right-click a product's group header to change its status (`active | beta | deprecated | sunset | planned`)
- Nesting sub-products via `parent_id` is available through the API only; the page doesn't render a tree

## When to use products

Single-product workspaces can leave the default Product in place. Multi-product workspaces (e.g. a SaaS with separate apps for "Inbox", "Roadmap", "Analytics") gain a useful filter dimension.
