# Positioning

> Per-segment positioning statements: value proposition, differentiators, messaging pillars, target persona.

The Positioning page holds one statement per market segment. Each is a short, sharp answer to "why us, for this audience?".

## What you'll see

- **Table**: one row per statement, sorted by segment: Segment, Value Proposition, Differentiators (count), Target Persona
- **Coverage strip**: how many statements have a target persona, how many have a value prop, and the total differentiator count
- Open a row for the full statement:
  - **Value proposition**: the headline answer
  - **Differentiators**: bulleted list
  - **Messaging pillars**: title + description per pillar
  - **Target persona**: linked to a Personas row

## Common actions

- **Add Positioning** button in the toolbar
- Edit value prop, differentiators and pillars in the drawer; **Segment** is required to publish
- **ProductSense** in the toolbar: AI reviews your statements against the workspace knowledge block and proposes edits

## Why per-segment

A single positioning collapses under multi-segment products. Enterprise needs compliance + control + procurement story; SMB needs price + onboarding + time-to-value story. Per-segment statements force you to make those trade-offs explicit.
