The Market Trends page is the workspace's outside-view tracker. Trends here aren't customer feedback, they're macro signals you've decided matter to product strategy.

## What you'll see

- **List view**: title, impact (`low | medium | high`), status (`emerging | growing | mature | declining`), signal count, source, AI-generated flag
- **Overview strip**: trends per impact level
- **Filter bar**: status, impact
- **Signals**: each trend has zero or more market-signal rows (specific data points); the count shows in the list and the rows in the drawer

## Row drawer

- Title, description, impact, status, source (free text)
- **Relevance**: free-text: why this matters to your workspace
- **Signals**: child rows of `market_signals`; click one to open the signal, which carries its own tags, signal date, source URL and AI-generated flag

## Common actions

- **Add Market Trend** button in the toolbar
- Signals are created through the API or the MCP connector as `market-signals` rows tied via `trend_id`; the trend drawer lists them read-only
- **ProductSense** in the toolbar: AI reviews your trends against the workspace knowledge block and proposes updates

## Where trends flow

Market trends and their signals are one of the sources in the workspace knowledge block, so ProductSense, Copilot and AI field generation see them whenever the source is enabled on the [Knowledge](https://productos.ca/documentation/pages/tools/knowledge) page. The SWOT page and the Strategy Canvas don't read trends directly.
